How it works

Unlike traditional vitamin C serums, this formula uses Ascorbyl Palmitate, a lipid-soluble vitamin C derivative chosen for superior stability and a gentler feel on the skin. DMAE helps support the appearance of firmness and suppleness, while panthenol (vitamin B5) and vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) nourish the skin and add to broad antioxidant protection. Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) helps skin look hydrated and plumped. Together these actives target the look of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture while supporting a more even, radiant tone.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The texture is light and absorbs well, making it comfortable for daily morning and evening use. Shake the bottle well and apply to cleansed skin before your moisturiser. Pair it with C-ESTA Cleansing Gel to cleanse, follow with C-ESTA Face Cream or C-ESTA Eye Repair Concentrate, and always finish with sun protection such as Marini Physical Protectant during the day. Suitable for dry, normal/combination and oily skin; if your skin is very reactive, build up gradually.

Yes. Marini SkinSolutions (voorheen Jan Marini) became Marini SkinSolutions in June 2025. The formula and actives are identical; only the name and the sustainable packaging are new.

How do I combine it with retinol?

Many people use this serum in the morning and a retinol product such as Age Intervention Retinol Plus in the evening. Introduce retinol gradually and watch how your skin responds.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
