Lavido was founded in 2003 by Ido Magal. The Israeli herbalist has a passion for nature. He studied herbal and plant chemistry and swapped city life for the countryside of the Jezreel Valley. There he developed his first product: a completely natural baby cream for his nephew. After family, friends and customers at the local market raved about his cream, he decided to launch a skincare line. Lavido was born. Over the years the brand has grown considerably. Today it is number one in Israel in natural and organic skincare. The products are also available in North America and more than 25 European countries. The brand saw a huge leap in popularity in the US when Gwyneth Paltrow became a fan.
