Teaology's founder, Cecilia Garofano, worked in the cosmetics industry for many years. That experience and her love of tea gave her the idea to develop skincare products with tea. Together with her husband Paolo and a team of chemical analysts, she discovered how tea could be worked into the products: by replacing water with a tea infusion. Teaology's products combine the powerful action of tea with lovely textures and scents. The aim is for every product to have the same effect as a cup of tea: it stimulates the senses while bringing a sense of calm. Although every type of tea comes from the same plant, the way the tea is processed and possibly fermented determines its properties. Each product from the brand contains an extract of a specific type of tea, perfectly suited to particular skin needs. White tea, for example, is rejuvenating, brightening and firming, while black tea has a hydrating, stimulating and refreshing effect. That makes it easy to find the right care products for your skin type! Cecilia selects only the finest teas, which are then used in the products. What you will not find in the products are parabens, mineral oils, SLS, artificial colourants and paraffin. The range consists of luxurious and effective products that protect the skin optimally against free radicals to help prevent skin ageing.
