Does your skin feel tight, look dull or tired by the end of the day? Then it is mostly short on moisture. Declaré Hydroforce is an ultra-light cream from the Hydro Balance line that supplies the skin with moisture and helps prevent premature skin ageing. It suits normal to slightly dry skin without pronounced lines and is dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.

How it works

A special complex of vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol) and liposomes delivers active ingredients into the upper skin layers and helps reduce the damaging action of free radicals. Valuable ceramides support the lipid barrier so moisture stays where it belongs and the skin's moisture level visibly increases. Ectoin helps protect against environmental influences, while glycerin binds water in the skin. Like every Declaré product, Hydroforce contains the SRC™ complex (Sensitivity Reducing Complex), which lowers skin reactivity and strengthens the skin barrier.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The texture is airy and light, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film, which makes it comfortable under make-up and a good choice if richer creams feel too heavy. Apply Hydroforce morning and/or evening to a thoroughly cleansed face and neck. Combine it with a gentle cleanser and toner from the Soft Cleansing line and, when your skin needs extra moisture, with a serum or mask from the Hydro Balance line such as Ocean's Best. If you want light daytime sun protection, choose Hydroforce Plus SPF 15 instead. For strongly irritated or red skin, the Stress Balance line is a better fit.

Is Hydroforce suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Declaré develops care exclusively for sensitive skin; Hydroforce contains the SRC™ complex and is dermatologically tested on sensitive skin. It does contain fragrance, so patch test on the neck if you are unsure.

Can I wear it under make-up and sunscreen?

Yes. Let the cream absorb for a moment, then apply your sun protection and make-up. Hydroforce itself contains no SPF.

How long does a 50 ml jar last?

Using a small amount daily, a jar lasts around two to three months on average.

Cleanse your face thoroughly in the morning and/or evening and apply a toner if you use one. Warm a small, pea-sized amount of Hydroforce between your fingertips and smooth it over face, neck and décolleté with gentle upward movements, avoiding the immediate eye area. Let it absorb briefly before applying sun protection or make-up. For extra hydration, apply a Hydro Balance serum first.

Straight after application the skin feels replenished and soft, without a greasy finish. With daily use the moisture level visibly improves: skin looks smoother, more supple and fresher, and signs of tiredness are less noticeable. Over time the skin barrier feels steadier and less easily irritated.
