Masque 105 (the French name for this purifying face mask) from the Yon-Ka Essentials line is developed specifically for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin that needs a thorough but gentle deep clean. Unlike Masque 103, Masque 105 contains a lower concentration of essential oils, making it a comfortable choice for reactive skin types too.

How it works

The formula brings together three clays, each with its own role: illite (a montmorillonite-type clay), bentonite and kaolin. Together they absorb impurities and excess sebum, draw the pores clean and visibly refine skin texture. Glycerin keeps comfort levels up, so skin doesn't feel tight afterwards. Essential oils of lemon peel, lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress and thyme — the recognisable aromatic signature accord of Yon-Ka — give the mask its revitalising action and fresh, herbal scent.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The texture is a smooth, creamy clay paste applied in a thick layer. Important: don't let the mask dry out completely — keep it moist by misting with Lotion Yon-Ka PS during the pose. Use Masque 105 one to three times a week after Lait Nettoyant or Gel Nettoyant. After rinsing, finish with your usual day or night care, for example Hydra N°1 Crème for dehydrated skin or Sensitive Crème if you flush easily. Avoid the immediate eye contour.

Masque 105 or Masque 103: which should I choose?

Masque 105 has a lower concentration of essential oils, making it the choice for dry and sensitive skin. Masque 103 is more intensely aromatic.

How do I combine the mask with the Lotion and my cream?

Cleanse first, apply the mask, then mist with Lotion Yon-Ka PS to keep it moist. Rinse, pat dry, then apply lotion and your usual cream.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it was designed for it. It does contain essential oils; if in doubt or during pregnancy, consult your doctor or esthetician first.

Cleanse the face and remove make-up first. One to three times a week, apply a thick layer of Masque 105 to face and neck, avoiding the eye contour. Leave on for 15 minutes and keep the mask moist by misting with Lotion Yon-Ka PS. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry without rubbing. Finish with your usual moisturiser.
