It lifts away make-up, excess oil and daily impurities from face, eyes and lips in one movement, with no rinsing and without stripping the skin. Ideal for all skin types, for busy evenings, after a workout or while travelling.

How it works

Gentle micelles (poloxamer and polysorbate) surround make-up and grime and lift them off the skin, without harsh soap. Glycerin and Sodium PCA help retain moisture so skin stays supple and comfortable instead of tight. Soothing extracts of rose (Rosa damascena) and chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) calm the skin and give the subtly floral scent. The Yon-Ka Quintessence complex of lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress and thyme adds the brand's signature aromatic touch.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The texture is light and watery, leaves no greasy film and never feels sticky. Use it in the morning as a quick refresh, or in the evening as your first cleansing step. If you wear heavy make-up or sunscreen, follow with Lait Nettoyant or Gel Nettoyant for a second cleanse. Always finish with Lotion Yon-Ka PS (dry skin) or PNG (normal to oily skin), then your serum or cream, such as Hydra N°1 Crème or Sensitive Crème. Avoid direct contact with the inside of the eye.

Which skin types is Eau Micellaire suitable for?

All skin types. The formula is mild enough for sensitive, easily reactive skin and works well on blemish-prone skin too, as it cleanses thoroughly without leaving a tight feeling.

Do I need to rinse, or still use the Lotion afterwards?

No rinsing is needed; the product is ready to use. We do recommend following with Lotion Yon-Ka PS or PNG to refresh the skin and prepare it for your serum or cream.

How long does a 200 ml bottle last?

With daily use and one or two cotton pads, 200 ml typically lasts from several weeks up to around two months, depending on how much make-up you wear.

Eau Micellaire cleanses through micelles: mild cleansing molecules (poloxamer, polysorbate 20) that capture make-up, sebum and pollution particles and lift them off the skin without foam or harsh surfactants. Glycerin and Sodium PCA bind moisture, so skin stays supple and comfortable rather than tight after cleansing. Rose and chamomile extracts soothe skin that reacts easily or looks irritated. The Quintessence complex of lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress and thyme provides the aromatic Yon-Ka signature. No rinsing is required, which is helpful if your skin does not tolerate tap water well.

Apply Eau Micellaire to a dry cotton pad. Start with eyes and lips: press the pad on the lid for a few seconds, then sweep gently outwards. Continue over face and neck. Repeat until the cotton pad stays clean. Do not rinse. Use morning and/or evening, then follow with Lotion Yon-Ka PS or PNG and your usual serum or cream.
