How it works

The colour develops thanks to DHA (dihydroxyacetone), which reacts with the upper layer of the stratum corneum to create a natural, even tan within 3 to 4 hours that lasts up to 4 days. Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) butter nourishes and softens the skin during the tanning process, while vegetable glycerine helps retain moisture and keeps skin supple. Plant oils such as sunflower, corn germ and rice bran oil, together with vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), make the texture soft and comfortable, completed by lemon and passion fruit extracts.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The creamy lotion absorbs easily without leaving a greasy residue; wait about 5 minutes before getting dressed. Exfoliate 24 hours in advance, for example with Gommage aux Sucres, and moisturise well for a more even result. Use less product on elbows, knees and ankles and avoid the eyebrows and hairline. Wash your hands with soap immediately after applying. Please note: a self-tanner offers no sun protection, so always use Crème Solaire SPF 50 in the sun.

How do I combine it with my Yon-Ka routine?

Cleanse and tone as usual first, for instance with Lait Nettoyant or Gel Nettoyant and Lotion Yon-Ka PS or PNG. Then apply the self-tanner and only use your regular day or night cream once the colour has developed.

How long does a 150 ml tube last?

Used on face and body once or twice a week, 150 ml usually lasts several weeks. If you only use it on the face, it will last considerably longer.

Exfoliate your skin 24 hours beforehand and moisturise well. Apply the lotion evenly to face and body. On the body, start at the legs and work upwards, using less product on elbows and knees. On the face, avoid the eyebrows and hairline. Wait about 5 minutes before getting dressed and wash your hands with soap immediately after use.

After 3 to 4 hours you see a natural, even golden-brown tan that lasts up to around 4 days. Skin feels hydrated, soft and supple, with no greasy or sticky film. The result looks subtle and can be built up gradually with repeated applications.
