How it works

The astringent effect of the cream refines the pores and the texture of your skin. Witch hazel (hamamelis) water tightens and soothes, kaolin absorbs excess sebum for the instant matte finish, and salicylic acid helps keep pores clear, so regular use helps prevent blemishes. Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) protects against environmental stresses, while panthenol and allantoin calm the skin and ectoin supports its moisture balance.

Texture and how to use it in your routine

The texture is light and absorbs quickly without a greasy film – an ideal base under make-up. Apply morning and/or evening to cleansed skin. Cleanse beforehand with Purifying Gel and, if you like, refine the T-zone with Pore Refining Fluid; use Anti-Oil Mask once or twice a week. If your skin feels dry or tight, a richer cream from the Hydro Balance line will suit you better.

Is this cream suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. It is dermatologically tested on sensitive skin and contains the SRC™ complex to strengthen the skin barrier. If your skin is very reactive, patch test on a small area first.

Can I use it under make-up and sunscreen?

Absolutely. Let the cream absorb for a moment, then apply your sun protection and make-up. The matte finish helps foundation stay put for longer.

How long does a 50 ml jar last?

Using a small, pea-sized amount daily, a jar generally lasts around two to three months.

Matifying Cream combines intensive hydration with an immediate matte effect. Cleanse your face and neck morning and evening, for example with Purifying Gel. Then apply a pea-sized amount of Matifying Cream to the face and neck and massage in with light, upward movements, avoiding the immediate eye area. Allow it to absorb briefly before applying sun protection or make-up. For extra refinement of the T-zone, add Pore Refining Fluid.

Straight after application the skin feels matte and fresh, without any tight feeling. With regular use pores look more refined, the skin texture appears more even and shine stays away for longer. Skin is better hydrated and blemishes tend to appear less often.
