How it works

The formula combines hydrating and mattifying actives. Sodium hyaluronate and glycerin bind moisture in the upper skin layers, so dryness lines and feelings of tightness visibly decrease. Ectoin and xylitylglucoside support the skin's moisture balance. Silica and kaolin absorb excess shine and create the instant, long-lasting mat effect. The Declaré SRC™ complex (Sensitivity Reducing Complex) reduces skin reactivity and strengthens the skin barrier — it is part of every Declaré product and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.

Texture and use in your routine

The cream is light and velvety, sinks in quickly and leaves a silky-mat, never powdery finish. Apply morning and/or evening to a thoroughly cleansed face, after your toner and any serum. Combine it with a mild cleanser from the Soft Cleansing line and with Ocean's Best or Hydro.Energy from Hydro Balance when your skin asks for extra moisture. If your skin is very dry or flaky, a richer Hydro Balance cream is the better choice.

Can I wear make-up over it?

Certainly. The mat finish makes a pleasant base under foundation. Let the cream absorb for a moment first; if you want sun protection, apply it as a separate step.

Morning and/or evening, cleanse the face with a mild cleanser and follow with a toner if you use one. Take a pea-sized amount of Hydroforce Extra Mat and spread it over face and neck with light, upward movements, avoiding the eye area. Let it absorb briefly before applying make-up or sun protection. Use daily for the best result.
