The Pupa BB Cream + Primer works through a combination of complementary active ingredients. Sodium hyaluronate draws moisture into the skin, while tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) and ascorbyl palmitate (a stable vitamin C derivative) help protect against oxidative stress. The silicone-based formula with dimethicone and polymethyl methacrylate creates a smooth, even base that blurs imperfections and minimises the appearance of pores.

The built-in UV filter ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, combined with titanium dioxide, provides SPF 20 protection against UV radiation.
