The Bothsided Magnet uses magnetic force to influence the still-uncured UPVOTED Cateye gel polish on the nail. The magnetic pigments in the gel polish respond to the magnetic field and align themselves along the field lines. Depending on which side of the magnet you hold above the nail, a different pattern forms within the pigments. This creates the characteristic three-dimensional cateye effect with a shifting light reflection that changes from angle to angle. Once you are satisfied with the design, you cure the nail immediately under the lamp to lock in the effect.

Step 1: Prep the nails as usual. Step 2: Apply UPVOTED Soak Off Base Gel to the natural nail. Step 3: Apply a dark gel polish colour and cure. Step 4: Apply a layer of UPVOTED Cateye — do not cure yet. Step 5: Hold the Bothsided Magnet over the nail to create your desired design, then cure immediately. Step 6: Finish with an UPVOTED Top of your choice.
