How it works

The formula contains 2% salicylic acid (BHA) with encapsulation technology. Because salicylic acid is oil-soluble, it penetrates into the pore and loosens excess sebum, dead skin cells and impurities. Encapsulation allows a gradual release, so exfoliation stays effective while feeling comfortable, balanced at a skin-friendly pH of 5.5. Tranexamic acid (2%) targets uneven skin tone and helps minimise the appearance of dark marks left after blemishes. Sake extract (fermented rice water, rich in amino acids) and aloe vera hydrate and support the skin's natural barrier.

Texture and use in your routine

A lightweight, watery toner that absorbs instantly and never feels tacky. Apply in the evening after cleansing and before serum and moisturiser. Start with 2-3 times per week and build up gradually to daily use. Pair it with a gentle cleanser and a hydrating serum such as Hydr8 B5 as a buffer. If you also use Crystal Retinal at night, alternate: BHA one evening, retinal the next. Mornings stay vitamin C, for example C-Tetra, plus SPF 30 or higher.

Can I combine it with retinal?

Refill your existing Press & Clear bottle with the refill pack. In the evening, apply the toner to freshly cleansed skin using a cotton pad or your hands. Start with 2-3 times per week and build up gradually to daily use if your skin tolerates it well. Avoid the eye area and do not rinse off. Let it absorb fully before serum and moisturiser. Always use SPF 30 or higher during the day.
