Retinal (retinaldehyde) is the form of vitamin A Medik8 uses across the Crystal Retinal range, working up to 11 times faster than traditional retinol. The gentle-release formula delivers the vitamin A gradually, helping to minimise irritation in the delicate eye area. Ceramide NP strengthens the skin barrier and retains moisture, sodium hyaluronate binds water in the upper layers, while shea butter and squalane give a soft, nourishing feel. Bisabolol adds a soothing touch.

A light, creamy texture that absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy film. Use it in the evening only, as the vitamin A step of the Medik8 CSA philosophy: cleanse, apply the eye cream, then your night cream or facial serum. Strength 3 (0.03% retinaldehyde) is the build-up level, ideal if you have limited experience with vitamin A or are stepping up from Crystal Retinal 1. Yes. Use the serum on your face and the eye cream around the eyes, both in the evening. Build up slowly: start 2-3 times a week and increase from there.
