The Medik8 Balance Moisturiser & Glycolic Acid Activator duo offers a complete solution for oily and blemish-prone skin seeking balance. This lightweight, mattifying moisturiser works together with the AHA Surface Perfector to reveal a visibly smooth and healthy-looking complexion.

The Balance Moisturiser helps daily to mattify skin and support a healthy skin microbiome, while the Glycolic Acid Activator is used 2-3 times per week to gently exfoliate the skin's surface. The glycolic acid improves absorption of the moisturiser and refines skin texture.

This combination is ideally developed for oily and blemish-prone skin. Together they create the perfect base for the rest of your skincare regime and makeup application, leaving skin looking balanced and refined.

The Balance Moisturiser contains ingredients that help regulate excess sebum and maintain the skin microbiome in balance. The Glycolic Acid Activator uses glycolic acid, an AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) that gently removes dead skin cells by breaking down the bonds between these cells. This exfoliation process smooths the skin's surface and improves penetration of the moisturiser, allowing active ingredients to work more effectively.

Use the Glycolic Acid Activator 2-3 times per week on cleansed skin, followed by the Balance Moisturiser. Apply the Balance Moisturiser daily as the last step in your routine. Start gently with the glycolic acid and gradually build up frequency. Always use sun protection during the day, as AHAs make skin more sensitive to sunlight.
