Cut it down to around 0.5 cm every time you burn your candle. Make sure you leave your candle burning for around one hour, so that the entire top side of the wax has melted. Don't leave the candle burning for longer than two hours. The hot wax will continue to smell delicious even after you blow out your candle. Doing so will ensure your candle burns neatly, evenly and cleanly.
