What makes Declaré different

Declaré was founded in 1978 as the first brand devoted entirely to sensitive skin. That focus has never changed: every product contains the SRC™ complex (Sensitivity Reducing Complex), which lowers the skin's reactivity and strengthens the skin barrier. Over time the skin responds more calmly to triggers such as cold, heat, stress or air conditioning.

Production takes place in Switzerland according to pharmaceutical guidelines and all products are dermatologically tested on sensitive skin. Only raw materials selected specifically for this skin type are used. Since 1990 Declaré has been owned by the family business Troll Cosmetics from Schwarzach in Vorarlberg, Austria, and the brand is available in more than 50 countries through selective specialist retail. Is Declaré suitable for couperose or rosacea?

For visible capillaries and lasting redness, Stress Balance is the starting point: Couperose Solution cares for the fine vessels and Anti-Irritation Serum calms acute irritation. Skincare soothes the skin and supports the barrier; if rosacea has been diagnosed, your doctor or dermatologist remains the right person for treatment.

Where is Declaré made?

Does Declaré test on animals?

Animal testing for cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients has been banned in the EU since 2013. Declaré produces and sells within that legal framework. The brand does not hold its own cruelty-free certificate, so we prefer to state honestly what is and is not formally documented.

Is Declaré vegan?

Not the entire range is vegan. Officially vegan are the 'Olu'Olu Caviar Supreme line, with a plant-based caviar alternative from Moai algae and saffron, and the Hyaluron Boost Sun Care. For other products, check the ingredient list.
